The Egyptian firm of Talal Abu Ghazaleh Legal represented Majid Al Futtaim Properties, LLC, of the United Arab Emirates, in the UAE developer’s attempt to transfer the domains matajer.net and matajer.com from their owner. The cases rulings were handed up by two separate, single-member panels of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The first WIPO ruling was handed up in the matajer.net case on December 1, 2022. The second ruling, regarding matajer.com, was handed up on December 22, 2022.
