The Brazilian law firm of Tozzini Freire (Advogados) represented the South American financial technology firm of Top Systems Brasil Software Financeiro Ltda. in its failed UDRP complaint, which attempted to force the transfer of the domain topaz.com.
A three-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization handed the company a particularly scathing ruling of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking, saying the company had “made a farce” of the UDRP process. The ruling was handed up July 28, 2025.
