Australian Company’s UDRP ‘Bricked’ By RDNH Ruling

An Australian company specializing in commercial masonry products has been found guilty of abusing the UDRP process to impel a transfer of the domain tyrone.com from a domain investor. Corcreevy Pty Ltd filed a complaint stating it trades under the name Tyrone Group, and has done so since 2014. The domain, a common given name in English and other languages, was registered in 2002.

A three-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization handed up a ruling of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking against Corcreevy Pty Ltd on July 22, 2025. The panel was composed of members Jane Seager, Luca Barbero and Jeremy Speres.
