Central Media S.C. of Mexico City, Mexico, has been found guilty of reverse domain name hijacking by the World Intellectual Property Organization. Central Media S.C. was found guilty of RDNH in its attempt to grab the domain, centralmedia.com, which is owned by Valentin Lotrean of Victoria, Australia.
While Mr. Lotrean represented himself, Central Media was represented by the law firm of Rios Abogados S.C., which describes itself as a “boutique” law firm, on its website.
The lone WIPO panelist, Adam Taylor, entered his ruling on February 20, 2017.
