A Virginia Gardens, Florida company has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking by a single-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization for trying to use a UDRP to steal the domain byfy.com from its current owner, claiming a new trademark registration, granted in late 2021, gave the company rights in a domain that was originally registered in 2004. The panel found the company, Etrack LLC, guilty of RDNH on January 11, 2022.
