A French stock company, founded under the name Enodo in 2021, has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking for attempting to steal the domain enodo.com from its original registrant, who acquired the domain in 2000. In a four-page ruling, shorter than most UDRP decisions, a single-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization found Enodo France clearly mislead the panel, and also used the classic “Plan B” UDRP filing to snag a domain following failed purchase negotiations. The ruling was handed up July 8, 2022.
